“I have suffered from backaches for years and always believed that I could not do much about it. My son, an Alexander Method devotee has tried in vain to talk me into trying it. I finally did by contacting Janice. First, I was impressed by her knowledge of the human body, especially the skeleton and muscle structure and how these relate to body positions. The initial lessons were extremely informative and introduced me to a variety of exercises. I was surprised to see how quickly my pain was receding by learning the techniques of sitting, moving and reaching for objects. Although, at my advanced age I do not expect to be fully pain free, after about a year I am able to sit and move with ease. Having to travel for long periods, the techniques that I have practiced are extremely helpful and I am more relaxed at the end of a long journey.
